LA LIGA: Sociedad celebrated in Barcelona, Espanyol almost made up for the three-goal deficit

In the last game of the 21st round of the Spanish La Liga, Real Sociedad defeated Espanyol in Barcelona with a score of 3:2.

It is the 13th victory for the Basques, which cemented their position in the third position in the table. On the other hand, Espanyol suffered their eighth defeat and remained in 17th place with 21 points.

The guests took the lead with a goal by Kubo in the 23rd minute of the match, and Serlot increased the score to 0:2 in the 51st minute.

When Cabrera scored an own goal for 0:3, it seemed that everything was over in Catalonia.

However, Espanyol did not give up and managed to add drama to the finish.

Darder in the 74th minute and Olivan in the 87th minute brought the hosts back into the game.

Espanyol pressed, had a couple of chances, but failed to complete the turnaround, so Sociedad took all three points to San Sebastián.
