Italian midfielder Samuele Ricci is on the verge of completing a move to AC Milan, with the transfer expected to be finalized this week. The 22-year-old is set to join the Rossoneri from Torino for a fee reported to be €25 million — comprising a fixed amount of €23 million and an additional €2 million in performance-related bonuses.
The agreement marks a significant addition to Milan’s midfield ahead of the 2025–26 season. Ricci has been a standout performer for Torino over the past two seasons, earning praise for his composure, passing range, and tactical awareness. His development has not gone unnoticed by the national team setup either, having already made appearances for Italy under Roberto Mancini and more recently under Luciano Spalletti.
Milan have been looking to strengthen their midfield options and Ricci is seen as a long-term investment who can fit into the club’s evolving tactical system under head coach Massimiliano Allegri. His versatility allows him to operate as both a deep-lying playmaker and a box-to-box midfielder.
Negotiations between Milan and Torino progressed steadily in recent weeks, with all parties now in agreement. Ricci is expected to undergo his medical early next week before signing a long-term contract at San Siro.
