Roma’s struggling manager Ivan Juric received a brief respite as his team narrowly defeated Torino 1-0 for their first victory in four Serie A games.
The winning goal was scored by Paulo Dybala in the 20th minute, taking advantage of a weak backpass from Karol Linetty and successfully evading Torino’s goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic before scoring.

This result propelled Roma to 10th place in the standings with 13 points from 10 matches and eased some of the pressure on Juric, who is already facing scrutiny just a month and a half into his tenure in Rome. On the other hand, Torino now sits only one point ahead of the Giallorossi after suffering their fourth defeat in five matches.
