The former member of the Brazilian national team and the best football player in the world, Ronaldinho, chose the toughest opponent he played against.

The 42-year-old Ronaldinho ended his career in 2015 in the Fluminense jersey, and he also played in the Grammys, PSG, Barcelona, Milan, Flamengo, Atletico Mineiro. Many remember him as an unreal magician with a ball that went through the defenders like a knife through butter. However, his toughest opponent was a defensive player.

– The best I played against was Paolo Maldini. He was always the most complete defender I have ever seen. I was lucky to play with him on the same team. Today we are friends, which makes me even happier. My friend is my idol – said Ronaldinho, who could not decide who was his best teammate.

– It’s a difficult question. I was lucky to be on the same team with Romario, Ronaldo. It is difficult to choose just one – said Ronaldinho.

Ronaldinho’s career lasted from 1998 to 2015. He was the world champion with the Brazilian national team in 2002, he won the Champions League with Barcelona in 2006, while in 2004 and 2005 he was the best football player in the world in the FIFA selection.
