Marsa St Michael strengthened the third place in the MAFA First Division standings when they found little difficulty to defeat San Gwann Pro Evolution Academy 4-0.
The Red/Blues made their intentions clear from the start and established a double advantage by the end of the first half thanks to Arthur Felippe Stelmach Santana and Juan Ortega Zarate.
In the second half, Marsa St Michael remained consistent with the French team that found it difficult to stop their opponents’ aggressive mode as Santana notched a personal double with Anas Souhaile who added another.

Balluta Barracudas dominated the match against Mqabba Albions to win 6-0.
After the score was 2-0 until the first half, the Cudas scored four more goals which gave them a comfortable victory.
Jake Chetcuti, Matthew Tortell, Andrew Tortell, Ruslan Borg, Mike Micallef and Daniel Zammit Lupi scored for Balluta Barracudas.

The second division league is turning out to be a very interesting one as the top four teams are separated by just one point.
Senglea Gunners are joint leaders with Valletta Stars St Dominic after edging Zebbug Youngsters 3-2.
The first half was very balanced as Andrea Rufa put Senglea ahead although Ryan Fonseca equalized for Zebbuġ.
In the second half, the game continued to be exciting with George Frendo and Glenn Bonello scoring two goals within a minute although Fonseca added a personal double and left some hope for Youngsters.

Birżebbuġa St Peter’s AFC climbed second in the table after a good 3-0 win against Gudja Wanderers.
After Junior Ohalewe put Birżebbuġa ahead seven minutes before the end of the first half, Oussama Boutayeb and Liam Diamond scored towards the end of the game.

In a game full of goals, Qajjenza ACJ climbed to second place in the third division table after beating St Paul’s Bay NMFC 9-5.
Qajjenza were already 5-1 up by the end of the first half, with the second 35 minutes in which they scored four more goals although towards the end they relaxed a little with their opponents who continued to reduce the score margin.
Ronnie Celeste scored a poker with Precious Tenebe who notched a hat trick. Callum Cassar and Joseph Fenech combined the score for the Southerners.
For St Paul’s Bay NMFC Sherpa Ngodup scored twice while Hang Sonu Limbu, Rai Sunil and Rochan Acharya were also on the mark
