Tarxien Rainbows edged Gżira United 7-6 on penalties after a 1-1 draw, with David Xuereb scoring for Gżira and Wallisson Bahia equalising from the spot for Tarxien.
Mosta also advanced after a goalless draw against Żurrieq, winning 6-5 on penalties, thanks to a decisive save by 17-year-old goalkeeper Jayden Farrugia.
