Brazilian forward Wallisson Bahia, 24, has completed a move to Tarxien Rainbows following a stellar season in his homeland. Standing at 1.85 m, Wallisson arrives at the Rainbows after helping URT (União Recreativa dos Trabalhadores) secure promotion.
Born on 28 August 2000, Wallisson plays as a centre-forward. He enjoyed a breakthrough 2024–25 campaign with URT, where his performances were instrumental in guiding the team to a higher division. Before that, he lifted the title with Sertãozinho, showcasing his knack for playing a pivotal role in successful sides.
Wallisson moved from Marília Atlético to Sertãozinho in January 2025 and previously had spells with clubs including Centro Sportivo Paraibano, União Recreativa Dantas, and loan stints across Brazil’s lower divisions.
Tarxien Rainbows, freshly promoted back to the Maltese Premier League for the 2025–26 season, have welcomed a forward with experience in title-winning campaigns and promotional pushes, a valuable asset as they aim to establish themselves at the top level.
Wallisson’s arrival signals ambition, as Tarxien bolster its squad with youthful talent ready to make an impact in Maltese football.
