Liverpool football club has reached an agreement with Benfica regarding the transfer of Uruguayan striker Darwin Nunez, the Portuguese club confirmed.
According to the club from Portugal, this is a transfer worth 75 million euros.
However, that amount can be higher, more precisely up to 100 million, and it all depends on Nunez’s performances and clauses in the contract.
Nunez scored 34 goals in 41 games in all competitions for Benfica last season.
The Uruguayan will sign a six-year contract during the week, until June 30, 2028.
