COMPROMISE FOUND: Atletico and Juventus still play, but without an audience?!

The friendly match between Atletico Madrid and Juventus will be played on Sunday in Turin.

The match was supposed to be played on Sunday in Tel Aviv at the Bloomfield Stadium, but was canceled earlier today due to the current security situation, namely the conflict between the Israeli army and Islamic Jihad from the Gaza Strip.

However, in today’s press release from Juventus, it is stated that the match will be played at the club’s training center in Turin. The match will be played without an audience, but there will be a television broadcast.

It will be the last warm-up game for both teams before the start of their respective championships. Atletico will play Getafe in Primera on August 15, while Juventus will play Sassuolo in Serie A on the same day.

The French Super Cup was played at the Bloomfield Stadium last week, in which Paris Saint-Germain beat Nantes 4:0.
