MINIMAL WIN IN DORTMUND: ''Old man'' Reus brought three points for ''Millionaires''

In the derby of the first round of the Bundesliga, Borussia defeated Bayer Leverkusen by a minimal score (1:0) in Dortmund.

The only goal was scored by Marco Reus in the 10th minute when he got the best of the chaos that erupted in the Leverkusen penalty area.

Bayer Leverkusen later had two goals disallowed for offside, and had several good chances that Patrick Schick failed to capitalize on.

In the second minute of stoppage time, the careless goalkeeper of the visitors, Lukas Hradecki, was sent off after he caught the ball outside the penalty area.

Until the end of the game, the defender Edmond Tapsoba stood in the Bayer goal.

In the next round, Borussia Dortmund will play on the road against Freiburg, and Bayer will welcome Augsburg.
