Jan Oblak, the goalkeeper of the Atletico Madrid football club, is positive for coronavirus, the Spanish club announced today.
“Our goalkeeper is in isolation and strictly adheres to the recommendations of the health authorities,” the statement said.
The Slovenian goalkeeper could defend for the current champions of Spain in the next 23rd round of La Liga.
Atletico Madrid will then play against Barcelona on the away field, and that match is scheduled for February 6.
Atletico Madrid is in fourth place with 36 points.
