Inter coach Simone Inzaghi stated that he hopes to see striker Romelo Lukaku return soon.

Lukaku returned to Inter from Chelsea in the summer transfer window, and this season he has been plagued by injuries. He played only seven matches and scored two goals.

He is currently sidelined with knee inflammation.

Lukaku is a very important player for us. We wanted to bring him at all costs, but he had a serious injury. He returned to the field after the World Cup, and he immediately developed knee inflammation.”He will rest as long as necessary, and we will do our best to get him back on the pitch as soon as possible,” Inzaghi said.

Last night, Lukaku watched from the stands the Italian Cup Round of 16 match between Inter and Parma, which his team won after extra time with a score of 2:1.
