Manchester City striker Erling Haaland scored five goals in the match against Leipzig, and after the match, he “reprimanded” coach Pep Guardiola for replacing him half an hour before the end of the match.
Manchester City qualified for the quarterfinals of the Champions League after a convincing 7:0 victory in the second leg over RB Leipzig.
“I told him (Pep Guardiola) that I would like to score a double hat-trick, but what can I do?” Erling Haaland shrugged after the match.
And after yesterday’s match, Haaland became the youngest player to reach 30 goals in the Champions League. And the fastest, he only needed 25 games.
“Great night!”, the young Norwegian proudly repeated.
“First, I’m proud to play in this competition, I love it. Five goals! To win 7:0, that’s incredible.”
It is difficult for him to single out which of the five goals is his favorite.
“Everything is still blurry in my head. I only remember that I shot, but I can’t say now…” added the Norwegian with a smile.
