Guardiola admitted the referee's mistake

Pep Guardiola, the coach of Manchester City, said that referee Paul Tierney made a mistake in the match that his team played against Everton.

The Everton team opposed this decision because they did not get a penalty when Rodri played with his hand.

They filed an official protest against the Premier League because of the last, but also several previous decisions against them.

Pep Guardiola also spoke this way:

Passing Dele Alii to Richarlison looked like offside, but if it wasn’t offside, then it’s a penalty,” Guardiola said briefly.

Pep was also asked if such details, such as Rodri playing with his hand, could affect the outcome of the season.

“If one incident can have an impact on the season, then I will review many incidents,” said the City head coach.

After the 1-0 defeat, Everton is just a point above the relegation zone.
