Expected: Pep Guardiola Coach of the Year in England

Manchester City’s Pep Guardiola has been named England manager of the year by the English Football League Managers Association (LMA).

Guardiola defended his title with Manchester City in the Premier League this season and thus reached the fifth trophy of the best team of the “Islands” in the last six years.

This is the third time in the Spaniard’s career that he has been named manager of the year, and City has a historic opportunity to reach the “triple” crown by the end of the season.

“Citizens” will play the final of the FA Cup against Manchester United, and the final of the Champions League with Inter.

“I am in an incredible club. “This would not have been possible without the support I had during my time at the Manchester club,” said Guardiola.

Mikel Arteta from Arsenal, Roberto de Zerbi from Brighton, Eddie Howe from Newcastle, Vincent Kompany from Burnley and Steven Schumacher from Plymouth were also candidates.
