Copenhagen’s 18-year-old winger, Roony Bardghji, has reportedly become a target for several Premier League clubs, including Chelsea and Manchester United. Despite his young age, Bardghji is considered one of the top prospects in world football and has already made 71 appearances for the Danish club, contributing 15 goals and one assist.
The Swedish Under-21 international made a significant impact in the Champions League, scoring a crucial goal in Copenhagen’s 4-3 victory over Manchester United in November. His goal played a key role in Copenhagen securing a place in the last 16 of the competition, while Manchester United finished at the bottom of the group.

With a contract until December 2025, Copenhagen could benefit from retaining Bardghji in the short term, especially as they prepare for a last-16 showdown with Manchester City after Christmas. However, according to reports, Copenhagen officials are open to selling the talented winger in the middle of the season to capitalize on his growing stardom and secure the highest possible transfer fee.
Chelsea is reportedly willing to negotiate a deal that allows Bardghji to remain at Copenhagen for the rest of the 2023-24 season. Other Premier League clubs, including Manchester United, Aston Villa, Newcastle United, Tottenham Hotspur, and Brighton & Hove Albion, are also said to be monitoring the situation. Additionally, Bayer Leverkusen, Borussia Dortmund, and Juventus are reportedly among the European clubs leading the charge for Bardghji.
Despite potential interest from various clubs, Bardghji may be inclined to stay at Copenhagen to help them defend their league title, as they currently trail leaders FC Midtjylland by just three points.
