Brighton players defeated Leicester 5:2 in the sixth round of the Premier League, and the match was marked by Alexis McAllister’s canceled goal of the season after an intervention from the VAR room.
Brendan Rodgers’ team is in a desperate series and they entered this match in the last place with only one point from five matches, and the crisis since the start of the season only deepened after the convincing defeat.
However, the “Foxes” may have hoped for a different epilogue after the leading goal scored by Kelechi Iheanacho after a pass from Patson Daka in the second minute of the game.

Patson Daka showed that he is the only bright link in the Lisica team with a goal in the 33rd minute. He broke Dak himself in front of the Brighton goalkeeper and put the ball into the net without any major problems for 2:2, which was the final score at halftime.
In the following, we watched only one team on the field. Already in the 47th minute, Brighton took the lead again, but Alexis McAllister’s goal, which is probably the best goal since the beginning of the new season, was canceled after checking in the VAR room due to offside.

The fourth goal for Brighton was scored by McAllister, which somewhat “compensated” for the canceled goal.
