Dutch footballer Daley Blind is a new player for Bayern Munich, the club confirmed.
Blind arrived in Munich as a replacement for the injured Lucas Hernandez and joined the club as a free agent after terminating his contract with Ajax by mutual consent last week.
“We are delighted to have Daly join our team. He is a versatile defender. He has extensive international experience and leadership qualities. We are sure that he will help us“, reads the statement of Bayern.
Blind played 99 matches for the Dutch national team, including all five at the World Cup in Qatar.
“I can’t wait to play. Before us is the most important part of the season, the period when titles are won. The club’s hunger for titles was the key to my coming to Bayern” said Blind.
