The Italian national team player Andrea Belotti has signed a contract with Roma, the club from Rome announced.
The former Torino footballer underwent medical examinations on Saturday after successful negotiations with Roma, and signed the contract a day later.
Italian media reports that Belotti had numerous offers from English and Italian clubs, but he only wanted to join the team led by Jose Mourinho.
Belotti grew up in the Albinolefe team, and then from 2013 to 2015 he played for Palermo. He left his biggest mark in Turin, whose shirt he wore for seven years. In the meantime, he became a member of the Italian national team, played 44 matches and scored 12 goals, and he achieved his greatest success with the “Azure” by winning the European Championship.
Roma coach Jose Mourinho will try to hire Olympiakos footballer Mady Camara by the end of the transfer window, as he believes that he needs additional reinforcements in the team.
Roma currently occupy the seventh position in the Italian Serie A with four points won from three games.
