Bayern Munich confirmed their victory against Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) in the second leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League with a score of 2:0, securing their spot in the quarterfinals.
PSG missed several opportunities in the first half, with Bayern players preventing Messi from scoring. However, the biggest mistake was made by Sommer, who lost the ball in his penalty area, allowing the Portuguese player Vitinha to shoot. The ball was saved from the goal line by De Licht, who prevented a goal for the second time.
Bayern also had their chances through Goretzka and Musiala, but Donnarumma managed to tame them.
The home players were more engaged in the second half, and Bayern striker Choupo-Moting prevented a goal by blocking Musial’s shot.
In the 61st minute, Goretzka scored for the Bavarians with a little help from Choupo-Moting. PSG’s Ramos had a chance to equalize the score but Sommer made a great intervention. This proved to be a turning point, as PSG did not create a single serious chance until the end of the match.
In the 90th minute, Bayern confirmed their victory with a goal by Gnabry, securing their spot in the quarterfinals. It was a disappointing end to the Champions League season for PSG.
