VUCEVIC IMPRESSED BY JOKIC: He deserves a new MVP award

Chicago Bulls basketball players will play tonight against Denver, and before this match Montenegrin basketball player Nikola Vucevic said that Serbian basketball player Nikola Jokic deserves to be named the NBA’s most valuable player for the third time.

Denver will host the Chicago team, and a particularly interesting duel for basketball fans in the Balkan region will be the duel between the two namesakes.

“I think he deserves to get another award, the way he plays. If you took him out of that team, that team wouldn’t be the same. The things he does, if you look at his stats, the efficiency with which he plays, it’s very impressive. And it’s not like he has the numbers and they don’t win. He makes a good game. He does not force. He doesn’t try to do something just for the sake of doing it. It’s all in the course of the game. That’s a victory in basketball,” said Vucevic.

The Montenegrin basketball player has been in a slight decline in form in the last three matches, which he will want to improve in a duel with the main candidate for the most useful player of the NBA league.

Jokic enjoys winning and playing for his teammates. So it’s fun to watch. You could say he has a natural talent, and a natural feel for the game. It’s just not something you teach. It’s something you’re born with and it’s obvious that he got better at it as the years went by,” said Vucevic, reports Eurohoops.
