For the first time in three months, Atletico Madrid secured an away victory in La Liga, defeating Granada 1-0 in the 21st round. Atletico’s last away win was on October 21 of the previous year against Celta Vigo with a score of 3-0.
The only goal was scored in the 55th minute, with Griezmann delivering a cross from the right, and Alvaro Morata finding the net. Madrid team had chances to secure a more convincing victory, but Griezmann hit the crossbar in the first half and the post in the second.
Granada had an opportunity to equalize in the 78th minute, but guests cleared the ball off the goal line.
