Aston Villa failed to find a way out of Nottingham Forest

Nottingham Forest welcomed Aston Villa on their field in the 11th round of the Premier League and achieved an important victory (2:0) before the resumption of the competition.

It didn’t take long for the home team to get the advantage.

The fifth minute of the match was played when Aina beat the visitors’ goalkeeper with a powerful shot for 1:0.

In the continuation of the match between the players, Aston Villa had a serious opportunity to equalize the score, as expected, and through Zaniol, but in a one-on-one situation with the goalkeeper of the home team, the net keeper came out as the winner.

There was no change in the score until the end of the first half.

In the continuation of the match, Nottingham Forest quickly doubled the lead. It only took two minutes after returning to the field to shake the rival’s net. Mangala didn’t shoot well, but the Aston Villa goalkeeper didn’t react well and had to take the ball out of the net.

The visiting team tried to reduce the score in the middle of the second half through Diabi, but the goalkeeper was in the right place and stopped his shot.

By the end of the match, there were no more opportunities, therefore no changes in the results.

After the new three points, Nottingham Forest is in 12th place in the table with 13 points, while Aston Villa is fifth with 22 points won.
