ARTETA: The next season will be the most difficult in the history of the Premier League

Arsenal coach Mikel Arteta was within reach of the title in the season behind us, and he pointed out that his team must bring reinforcements in the summer transfer window.

In the season behind us, Arsenal spent the most days at the top, but in the end, Manchester City still lifted the Premier League trophy.

“The next season will be the most difficult in the history of the Premier League. I have been in England for 22 years and I have never seen such a level of competition. There are many qualities and there are many good coaches. That’s the level, if you want to win the Premier League, you have to constantly improve.” Arteta told the BBC.

By winning second place, Arsenal qualified for the Champions League.

“Even today, it hurts me a lot that we were not champions. We had a couple of injuries to important players and everything got complicated. Our competitor Siti has the best team in the world and the best coach. We had no choice but to accept it and give a hand to the champion.” he added.
