Jake Paul is set to face undefeated star Gervonta Davis on November 14 at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, in a fight that will be streamed live on Netflix, promoters announced Thursday.
Davis, who became WBA lightweight champion after Devin Haney vacated the title in 2023, will not be defending his belt against Paul due to the significant size difference between the two fighters.
Paul, who competes at cruiserweight, came in at 199.4 pounds (90.45 kg) for his June victory over Julio César Chávez Jr., while Davis last fought at 133.8 pounds (60.3 kg) in March against Lamont Roach. Details regarding the agreed weight limit for their matchup have not yet been disclosed.
“Yes, he’s one of the top pound-for-pound boxers in the world, but my motto is anyone, anytime, anyplace, against all odds. And I like my odds,” Paul posted on X.
Davis enters the bout with an unblemished professional record of 31 fights, with 30 wins and one draw, while Paul holds a 12–1 record.
