The Maltese Blackball national team on their way to Bridlington

The Maltese Blackball national team are on their way to Bridlington as they will be in action between Saturday 5 April till Wednesday 16th April.

In total, there will be seven categories that will take part in this competition which were selected after a number of qualifying tournaments that were played in recent weeks.

The men’s A team will be made up of Johan Attard, Clayton Castaldi, Leon Azzopardi, Glenn Axiaq, Philip Coleiro, Clint Azzopardi and Gary Carr with Clevion Micallef as coach.

On the other hand, the men’s B team has Miguel Mizzi, Alessio Magro, Deacon Formosa, Shaun Attard, Brandon Bonnici and Luke Said with the coach being Lee Ryan Darmanin.

The under-15 team will feature Nick Muscat, Jake Castaldi, Denzel Falzon and Dielyn Edwards with Robert Attard leading them.

Nordai Desira, Casdy Vella, Chaylon Castaldi, Steven Muscat, Matthias Debono and Neil Caruana will form the Maltese national under-23 team with coach Kyle Zammit.

Meanwhile, coach Malcolm Parnis has Stephen Mangion, Lee Grima, Shawn Galea, Duncan Edwards, Conrad Catania and Mario Scicluna as the players who will form the senior A team.

On the other hand, in the senior B team, coach Christopher Busuttil will have Sandro Bartolo, Cajetan Fauzza, Robert Bugeja, Jonathan Vella, Wayne Cassar and Mario Felice.
