Andre Agassi Joins TNT Sports as Studio Analyst for French Open Coverage
In a major move to elevate its French Open broadcast, TNT Sports has enlisted eight-time Grand Slam champion Andre Agassi as a studio analyst.

Starting next month, TNT Sports will kick off a new decade-long broadcasting deal, worth a total of $650 million, to air the prestigious two-week event each May. Agassi, 54, is expected to play a key role in the network’s coverage, particularly during the semifinals and finals. A French Open champion in 1999, Agassi has made only limited television appearances since retiring nearly two decades ago.
TNT’s lead commentary team for the tournament will feature Brian Anderson as the play-by-play announcer, alongside the ever-present John McEnroe as lead analyst.
When asked about Agassi’s hiring, TNT Sports declined to comment.
Agassi Follows TNT’s Star-Driven Studio Formula
TNT Sports has a track record of building its studio coverage around legendary athletes. Just as Charles Barkley headlines its NBA coverage, Pedro Martinez leads its MLB analysis, and Wayne Gretzky lends his expertise to NHL broadcasts, the network views Agassi as a similarly high-profile addition for tennis.
In addition to Agassi, sources indicate TNT has been in discussions with Jim Courier and Lindsay Davenport, among other former players, to further strengthen its French Open commentary lineup. Adam Lefkoe has already confirmed that he will serve as the studio host.
With this latest high-profile signing, TNT Sports looks to make an immediate impact as it embarks on its new French Open broadcasting era.
