The Maltese national blackball teams are officially underway in their 2025 Nations Cup journey, as matchday one kicks off at the historic Bridlington Spa in East Yorkshire. The tournament runs from Saturday, 5th April to Wednesday 16th April, and brings together elite blackball talent from across the continent.
A total of 12 nations, 128 teams, and over 850 players are participating across seven categories, following a series of intense qualifying tournaments in recent weeks. Malta will be represented in multiple divisions, including Men’s, Masters, and Seniors, all of whom begin their competitive fixtures today.
On Friday, players from all categories had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the scenic Bridlington Spa venue and completed their first training sessions on the tournament tables in preparation for the gruelling schedule ahead.
