Local Blackball competitions resumed this week following Malta’s positive showing at the Nations Cup in Gibraltar, with several competitive fixtures played across the National League and Community League.
In the National League, Cospicua Rangers A and Mrieħel Billiard House A drew 10-10, while Ħamrun 147 A claimed an important 11-9 win over Qormi Pinto A.

Community League Section A saw Birkirkara Juve beat PL Floriana 11-8, Żebbuġ St Joseph B draw 10-10 with Ħamrun 1889 Bar, and Birżebbuġa St Peters B defeat Selmun Sports Club C 11-9.

In Section B, Selmun Sports Club B overcame Birżebbuġa St. Peter’s A 11-9, San Ġwann Tiki Taka Buddies registered a dominant 11-2 victory over Żebbuġ St Joseph C, while Qormi Anici beat PL Balzan B 11-4.

Cospicua Rangers A lead the National League on 15 points, ahead of Qormi Pinto A on 13 and Ħamrun 147 A on 10. In Community League Section A, Cospicua Rangers B remain top with 31 points, while Ħamrun 147 D lead Section B, also on 31 points.
