Hamrun 147 A are the winners of the National Knock-Out organized by the Malta Blackball Federation after beating Jojo’s Birżebbuġa 11-9 in a thrilling final.
Both sides, who had a number of high profile players in their ranks, began to alternate the advantage with the game which towards the end was at a 9-9 scoreline. It was in the last two frames that the Hamrun side took a solid lead so they could celebrate their first success during this season.
At the end of the match, Malta Blackball Federation president Philip Gatt presented the cup to the Ħamrun 147 A player Dejan Grech.
