Cospicua Rangers climbed to first place in the national Blackball league table after dominating their match against Domus Kids Zejtun as they won 11-0.
The Cottonera side were very precise in their games with Domus Kids which few could do on the day. Hamrun 147 B beat Hamrun 147 A 11-8 while there was a balanced match between Hamrun 147A and Jojo’s Birżebbuġa which ended in a draw of 10-10.
Qormi Anici Boys remained consistent in the Regional Championship although they didn’t find it easy to beat Qormi Anici Stars 11-9.
The team in second place Qormi Pinto were defeated by Cospicua Rangers B 11-6 while San Ġwann Tiki Taka A and Birkirkara Boċċi took a point each after a draw of 10-10.
In section A of the Community League, the leaders PL Balzan have four points advantage over the second team San Ġwann Tiki Taka C as they beat Qormi Anici Cappadocia 11-8. The same team from San Gwann beat PL Floriana 11-8 and with an identical score Siġġiewi Montekristo beat Selmun Sports Club B.
Attard Scorpions and Zebbuġ St Joseph ended in a 10-10 draw.
