The Malta Basketball Association (MBA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Charles Bonnici as the new head coach of the Women’s National Basketball Team.
With a successful career backed by a remarkable record of winning all leagues and trophies locally, Bonnici brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new role.The MBA is confident that Bonnici has all the credentials to inspire and guide our talented athletes towards continued success on the national and international stage.
“Charles Bonnici’s proven track record in developing winning strategies and fostering a culture of excellence aligns seamlessly with the Association’s ongoing commitment to support the growth and progress of our women’s national team,” MBA President Paul Sultana said.
“Our objective is to consolidate the work done so far while striving to achieve further improvement in terms of the performances and results of the women’s basketball team.”
In welcoming Bonnici to our coaching staff, everyone at the MBA would also like to express our heartfelt gratitude to the outgoing women’s national team headcoach, Angela Adamoli who led the team to numerous successes. We wish Adamoli the best of luck for the future.
