Marcell Jacobs, an Italian athlete of American origin and Olympic champion in the 100 meters, will participate in the rally of the Diamond League in Stockholm.
This will be Jacobs’ first appearance since the injury that has befallen him since mid-May.
And according to media reports, it is still unknown whether the athlete will perform at the Italian Championship in Rijeka, which starts on Saturday.
Since the Tokyo Olympics, where he won a gold medal as well as a gold medal in the relay, he has only competed twice in the 100-meter dash.
He missed previous competitions in the Diamond League due to a thigh muscle injury.
The rally, which is being held in Stockholm, the capital of Sweden, is scheduled for June 30, and the World Championships in Eugene, USA, will be held from July 15 to 24.
