Norwich sporting director Stuart Webber believes his team can stay in the Premier League this season, despite the disastrous results.
The Norwich players have not recorded a single victory this season, so they are at the rock-bottom of the league with only two points. They also suffered a heavy defeat by Chelsea with 7:0. However, the sports director of the “Canaries” is optimistic and believes in the team, as well as in the coach Daniel Farke.
– Farke is our choice and it will remain so. One man cannot be blamed for everything. Neither when he loses, nor when he wins. We all have to move forward together and I really believe that we have the strength for that – said Weber.
He is aware of all the criticism and claims that his team will find a way out if they work hard and take their destiny into their own hands. Ten new players came to the club this summer, and the club spent 35 million on transfers.
– I know that we are all under fierce criticism. Deserved. However, the only way out is to work hard. No excuses and putting problems under the rug. We have to take control and destiny into our own hands – Weber pointed out.
