The 2026 Laver Cup is heading back to familiar ground, with organisers confirming that the prestigious men’s team tennis tournament will be held at London’s iconic O2 Arena from September 25 to 27, 2026.
The announcement marks a return to the venue that hosted the event’s fifth edition in 2022, a tournament remembered for its electric atmosphere and emotional farewell to Roger Federer. The decision to bring the event back to London was driven by overwhelming enthusiasm from fans, players, and partners alike.
“The response from London – from fans, partners and players – was truly overwhelming,” said Laver Cup chairman Tony Godsick in a statement. “The appetite to see Laver Cup return was impossible to ignore.”

The Laver Cup, named in honour of Australian tennis legend Rod Laver, features six of the top men’s players from Europe competing against six counterparts from the rest of the world in a dynamic mix of singles and doubles matches over three days.
Since its inception in 2017, the tournament has carved a unique place in the tennis calendar with its innovative format and team-based rivalry. Team Europe, the defending champions, have claimed victory in five of the seven editions to date.
Before returning to London, the eighth edition of the tournament is set to take place in San Francisco from September 19 to 21, 2025, adding another iconic city to the Laver Cup’s growing global legacy.

With London once again preparing to host the drama, intensity, and camaraderie that defines the Laver Cup, fans can expect another unforgettable chapter in this evolving tennis spectacle.
