Kyrgios after the big victory: I know that now they will show it everywhere in the center, so I will look like an idiot!

Nick Kyrgios continues to play his best matches in his career, once again confirming that he is a top-class tennis player and defeated the number one tennis player in the world, Daniil Medvedev.

When the match ended, Nick explained that strange move from the third set in a conversation with Patrik McEnroe.

During the game, Kyrgios hit the ball outside the rules of the game, so he lost the point.

“I still can’t believe that I made such a stupid move,” Kyrgios said with a laugh.

” I thought it was allowed. I know that now they will show it everywhere in the center, so I will look like an idiot!”

However, Kyrgios once again outplayed Medvedev brilliantly, as recently in Montreal.

” It was a great match, Daniil is the defending champion. There was a lot of pressure on his shoulders. However, I have been playing very well in the last few months. What a place to do this, a full stadium in New York, I’m extremely happy,” says Nick.

At the end, he also mentioned Rafael Nadal.

” I don’t want to disappoint the audience. We’ve been on the road for four months, we all have families we want to see, but let’s make this trip worth it. I want to go to the end, I hope it’s possible,” adds Kyrgios , who hopes for the final.

He also thanked his team.

“I am glad that I finally showed my talent to New York. I honestly haven’t had many nice stays here. I’m happy to finally be able to show you what hard work and dedication do. It took me 27 years,” Nick Kyrgios concluded.
