Novak Djokovic won his 24th Grand Slam title, and does it still need to be debated about who is the best of all time or has it finally become clear to everyone?
“Whether I am the greatest – let others judge that. But there is one fact: If I wasn’t from Serbia, I would have been raised to heaven long ago in terms of sports. Especially in the Western world,” Djokovic began and added:
“It is part of my life’s journey, I am grateful that I come from Serbia. That’s what fulfills me, and you write whatever you want and think,” Novak pointed out.
As of today, he is officially number one again on the ATP list.
“It has not been my goal in the last few years. However, when it is a consequence of the result, why not?” underlined Novak Djokovic.
