Carlos Alcaraz and Novak Djokovic played a match in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, which, although it was an exhibition, was very intense and at a high level.
The age gap between the two currently best tennis players is massive. Nevertheless, the match in Riyadh was very interesting and both players had to work hard to win a point against each other.
In the end, the Spaniard was better, although Djokovic won the first set. The score was 4-6, 6-4, 6-4.
After the match, both players had only words of praise for each other. Alcaraz said that it is a pleasure to share the court with Novak and that he plays like he is 20 years old, not 16 more:
”It is incredible to share the court with him (Djokovic), in this event, everywhere […] As I said many times, he seems like he is 20”
