Exceptional day for Maltese players at Parkinson's World Ping Pong Championships in Slovenia

Anna Tabone and Adrian Casha had a perfect day at the Parkinson’s World Ping Pong Championships in Lasko, Slovenia as they won all their mixed doubles matches.

Tabone and Casha beat Maximilian Butolen//Marjanca Cajlinger (Slovenia) 3-0 so in the second game they beat Reinhard Augstein/Roswitha Lamm (Germany) 3-1. The last match was an easy 3-0 outing against Libor Jasa and Eva Korbickova (Czech Republic).

After these results, the Maltese couple advanced to the last 16 round.

Meanwhile, the exceptional day of the Maltese contingent resumed in the individual category as Adrian Casha beat Bojan Likar of Slovenia 3-0 while Ralph Accarino beat Franci Dragan of Slovenia 3-0. Even Casha and Accarino have progressed to the round of 16.
