French footballer Kylian Mbappe showed at the World Cup in Qatar that he is one of, if not the best, of all time.
Mbappe failed to win a second World Cup title with his country in a row, but he had an admirable championship.
In the final against Argentina, he scored a hat-trick and thus reached four goals in the World Cup finals (he scored a goal against Croatia in Russia) – and set a record at the age of 23!
In total, he scored 12 goals at the tournaments in Russia and Qatar, tying him with the legendary Pele for sixth, and in 2022 he was the top scorer of the tournament with 8 goals (and 2 assists).
Mbappe played a total of 14 games at the World Cup and with 12 goals he already knocked on the door of record holder Miroslav Klose, who has 16.
Already, no one in the history of France has ever performed better than Mbappe at the World Cup.
