The coach of the Sacramento Kings, Mike Brown, was named the best coach in the 2022/23 season and is the first to be chosen unanimously.

Brown managed to take Sacramento to the playoffs this season, which the Kings haven’t been able to do since 2006. Admittedly, their opponent was the Warriors, who are defending the throne, but Mike Brown’s company is currently leading by 2:0 in the series.

This is the second time that Mike was chosen as the coach of the year, considering that he received the first award in 2009 when he led the Cleveland Cavaliers to 66 wins and 16 losses in the regular season.

The award was voted for by 100 journalists, and this recognition came just six days after Brown was voted the best by his fellow coaches as well.
