Mercedes has made official the return of Lewis Hamilton on social media with his picture with the text “44 is back”.
And if the Briton officially never left the championship, there was a lot of speculation whether he would retire after losing the title at the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
Also, in the previous weeks, Hamilton’s departure from F1 was announced from Mercedes‘ ranks.
Along with Hamilton, the other driver of the team should be George Russell.
The new F1 season starts on March 20 in Bahrain with a record 23 races in the calendar.
