Maltese drivers take on Italy’s legendary Monte Erice Hillclimb

Maltese Hillclimb Drivers, Noel Galea, Ivan Paul Deidun, and Darren Cammileri took part in the 2025 Italian Super Hillclimb that completed the Championship at the 67th Monte Erice, a mountain in western Sicily, in the province of Trapani, near Palermo.

The 67th Monte Erice, known for its challenging terrain and steep slopes, has been a significant venue in the motorsport world since September 5, 1954.

Out of a staggering 270 cars and drivers from all over Italy, Noel Galea secured the 43rd position, Ivan Paul Deidun the 32nd, while Darren Camilleri unfortunately had to retire early due to technical issues.
