The top 16 teams based on previous EWPC results will participate in Division Elite, while other teams will compete in Division I, with a particular emphasis on supporting women’s water polo development by expanding Division Elite to accept up to 20 teams for the U16 and U18 women’s categories.
Eligibility and seeding for each division will be determined by the results from the last age-group EWPC, with new or unranked teams placed according to the European Aquatics National Team Rankings.
European Aquatics looks forward to welcoming young athletes from across the continent to these world-class competitions and thanks the host cities for their collaboration and support in delivering an exciting and memorable championship experience.
