Marsaskala Optima Projects managed to win the first playoff encounter against Exiles Wellbees 15-13 to ensure that the place for a finalist’s berth will be decided in another match. The winner of the decider will face Marsaxlokk Browns who easily disposed of Ta’ Xbiex Amigos in the other playoff encounter 25-12 for a shot at the water polo First Division championship.
Later today, the playoffs for the Premier League Championship will take face. In the first encounter, San Giljan Face Sirens whilst in the second, Sliema confront their eternal rivals Neptunes.
