The U14 water polo competition delivered another thrilling evening of action at the Cottonera Sports Complex on Tuesday, 29 April 2025. Three entertaining fixtures saw impressive performances from the young talents representing some of Malta’s leading aquatic clubs.
Neptunes overpower Marsaskala
Neptunes WPSC produced a commanding display to overcome Marsaskala Fish & Fish with a 14-8 victory. Showing composure and clinical finishing throughout the match, Neptunes built a comfortable lead and maintained their dominance to seal an important win.
Birżebbuġa hit 21 past Exiles
Birżebbuġa Enemed were in scintillating form, as they registered a resounding 21-9 win against Exiles Welbee’s. The Birżebbuġa side’s relentless attacking prowess proved too much for their opponents, as they ran away with a convincing victory to further boost their campaign.
Sliema ease past Sirens
In the third fixture, Sliema Gillette secured a solid 12-5 triumph over Sirens C&J Bonavia. Sliema controlled proceedings from start to finish, displaying a balanced game with tight defence and swift counter-attacks that helped them pull clear and seal the win.
