James Galea Jr delivered an outstanding performance to claim the top spot at the MSSF Trap Competition (50 Targets 2-2025), held at the Malta National Shooting Ranges.
Galea edged out stiff competition to secure the win, with Rennie Deguara finishing as runner-up and Gianluca Chetcuti taking third place overall.
The event consisted of a 50-target qualification round, followed by a final round of 25 single-shot targets. The top six shooters advancing to the final were:
- Rennie Deguara – 49/50
- James Galea Jr & Michele Danilo – 47/50 each
- Gianluca Chetcuti & Christopher Vella – 46/50 each
- Leetov Bonnici – 45/50 (+1 in shoot-off)
Anglu Ciappara narrowly missed out on a place in the final after posting 45/50 but losing the shoot-off (+0).
