Żejtun Laċċi won the MDA 5-a-side darts championship when they beat Floriana Ajax Premier Cars 3-2 in a very exciting final held at the Birgu Boċċi Club.
After Floriana broke the deadlock, Żejtun were quick to react as they not only equalized the score but even took the lead. The fourth game was won by the Greens who thus made the score equal although in the decisive game, Albert Scerri defeated Anthony Borg to help his team win this final.
At the end of the match, MDA president Tony Demanuele presented the cup to Żejtun Laċċi’s player Enrico Scerri.
