Floriana Ajax Premier Cars are the new leaders of the MDA First Division as they easily saw off PO’s Bar Gudja 8-0.
The Greens dominated from start to finish this encounter with the Gudja side unable to win a single game.
Floriana took advantage of the fact of the 4-4 scoreline which was registered in the main match of the week between Żejtun Laċċi Gold Lady and Ħamrun Bayern A.
Ħamrun Bayern A were winning 3-1 away from soil but a reaction from the Żejtun side saw them lead 4-3 until Ħamrun restored parity for a 4-4 result.
Even the match between Sliema Lounge A and Floriana Ajax MCP finished in a 4-4 result while Birżebbuġa Lions are back into contention as they easily won 7-1 against Ħamrun Bayern B.
In the MDA Second Division, Duke’s Bar and Cox Bar obtained 7-1 wins over Żebbuġ Rangers DT and Leah’s Bar A respectively.
Birgu Boċċi Club A and Domus Men obtained an identical 6-2 scoreline against Top Gun Marsa and Beland Żejtun respectively.
Żejtun Laċċi Maypole are top of the MDA Third Division table after seeing off Munchies 6-2 with Nicolo Isouard also registering the same scoreline against Tal-Balklor Senglea.
On the other hand, Birgu Boċċi Club B obtained a smart 7-1 win over Sliema Lounge B with Mqabba Tal-Ġilju maintaining their consistency after seeing off Domus Ladies 7-1.
