Floriana Ajax are close to retaining the title they had won last season after beating Żejtun Laċċi Gold Lady 5-3 in the top of the table clash. It was a very intense game between two teams that showed good darts during this season.
The Żejtun side started so well as they were twice in the lead although the Greens were always focused and after equalizing, they took the lead for the first time in order to maintain consistency until the end.
Meanwhile, Hamrun Bayern A jumped into the second place of the table after a score of 7-1 against Sliema Lounge A while Birżebbuġa Lions reached Żejtun Laċċi with 39 points after another great victory of 7-1 against PO’s Bar.
Floriana Ajax MCP climbed higher in the table after beating Hamrun Bayern B 5-3.
In the second division, Birgu Boċċi Club have an eight point advantage over the two teams in second place as they beat Duke’s Bar 6-2. Domus Men failed to take advantage of this result as they had to settle for a 4-4 draw against Top Gun Marsa.
Cox Bar were so dominant over Beland Żejtun that they beat them 7-1 while Leah’s Bar A got their first win of the season after beating Zebbug Rangers Darts Team 6-2
In the third division, Leah’s Bar B achieved a dominant 8-0 victory against Tal-Balklor Senglea while Nicolo Isoard and Tal-Ġilju Mqabba had identical victories of 5-3 against Domus Ladies and Żejtun Laċċi B respectively.
